very simply actually. the cobalt SS turbo is a quick car.

down pipe, exhaust, intake, charge pipe, inter cooler, and a new engine tune should do it in all honesty

20 pounds of boost would do it. Still...this is a warrantied car and you don't do that on a car with a warranty. The stock gto get's to 60 in around 4.7 seconds and runs 13's in the quarter mile. The cobalt ss turbo runs to 60 in around 5.5 seconds (if you're a good driver) and 14's in the quarter mile (you would lose by maybe a car length if that). So if he sucks at driving then you can probably beat him as is. Conceivably if you have the RPD (launch control) you could probably beat him as is, but racing a warrantied car is also a bad idea...though the LNF can take it.

Actually...you could get the GMPP stage kit and it would be even closer.
