This car had quite a bit of dust and water stains which required much retouching to even out the spots and be acceptable. I spent many hours on this series as I love the subject and felt they deserved the work. I'm often asked if I dust of my subjects, which in this case would have been far easier. The owner of the car wasn't around to ask permission. Usually at car shows everything is immaculately clean unless the weather doesn't co-operate. As a rule I go with whatever nature and chance provide which on the street can be challenging.
