1966 Pontiac GTO Body
The 1967 GTO retained the three different body styles. The hardtop had no post between the front side and rear side quarter glass. The sport coupe had a pillar or post between these two windows. The convertible was again offered.
The 1967 GTO came standard with special exterior badges, the hood scoop, a 335hp 400cid engine with an optional HO or economy version, chrome valve covers and air cleaner(s), dual exhausts, bucket seats and a 3-speed manual transmission with floor mounted Hurst shifter.
It was the first year of the optional ecomony and HO engines.
